Frequently asked questions
From what age and what levels are there?
For children between 7 and 14 years old. Rookie – first steps on a snowboard; Private/Hotshot – for children who already ride independently. With clear groupings, your child joins a group where no one's "holding them back" or "pushing them" beyond their comfort zone. An Index from a previous course helps us quickly find the right group and continue their progress.
Can we change groups after day one?
Yes – if we see the level isn't quite right, we can move a child to a better-suited group (instructor's decision after observation; subject to availability). Our terms and conditions allow for this – we want children to feel comfortable and have a proper chance to progress.
What's the 3-day course plan and how do you count time?
Days 1-2: 09:30 am – 11:20 am and 1:30 pm – 3:20 pm: riding; Day 3: 09:30 am – 11:20 am + 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm: race/skills assessment. One lesson hour = approximately 55 minutes. The timetable gives children time to learn, play and rest – and parents a clear daily structure.
Do you skip queues? Is a lift pass included and where is it valid?
During lessons we go straight past the queue, so your child rides more and progresses faster. A lift pass isn't included. At the STOK office you can buy dedicated lift passes for the course duration (3- or 5-day) valid only on the Białka lifts (Kotelnica/Bania/Kaniówka) – these aren't Tatry Super Ski passes.
Is insurance included for participants?
Yes. In Super Stoker all participants are covered by the NoRiskSafeFun – UNIQA group insurance. It gives parents extra reassurance. Remember the certificate and claims procedure
(ISON Care: tel. +48 22 599 91 85, email: likwidacja-turystyka@isoncare.eu).Will you practise first tricks/snowpark?
Yes – gradually and safely, appropriate to group level. We start with confident riding, speed control and a stable stance, then add first tricks, rollers or easy features. The aim is for children to feel proud, not frightened.
Kit and helmet – what's compulsory?
A helmet is compulsory for all participants. Children bring their own kit; the instructor checks its basic condition and may refuse participation if equipment is unsuitable or unsafe – so the whole group rides safely and comfortably.
